Newborn Photographer // Jacob (2 months)

...AKA the many faces of Jacob. Hehe, sweet baby Jacob is one of the most expressive newborns I've ever met. I think he can also claim the title for the most easy going newborn I've ever met, also. I stayed with Jacob and his Mama, Meredith (his Dad was out of town), for a few days while I was in Dallas...before heading up here to Alaska.

Jacob was kind enough to let us ladies have some girl time, but he sure stole the show with those big baby blues and pinch-able cheeks. He also stole my heart with a few deep stares and finger squeezes.


He's too much! I am already missing this sweet little buddy and I can't wait to visit him again soon.

Wichita Wedding Photographer // Rupa and Edgar Sangeet

To say that I had a blast photographing Rupa and Edgar's Sangeet is the understatement of the century. This was hands down the coolest party I've ever been to, and I wasn't even a guest. I have never seen a dance floor so full of people dancing it up and having a ball, people of all ages. It was so much fun to watch and document this celebration for the couple that was wed the very next day.

For those who aren't familiar with Indian traditions, the Sangeet is a pre-wedding celebration where friends and family perform songs and dances for the bride and groom. This is followed by a (basically) full blown reception with dancing, the most amazing food, and lots of fun.

Family Portrait Photographer // Inman Family

Back in May, while I was still in Wichita, I had the opportunity to take pictures for the very photogenic Inman family. Seriously though, I don't think this family had an awkward picture in the bunch. They even brought their sweet dog, Baxter, along for the fun! We were lucky that the usual crazy hot summer days were a bit delayed this year and the weather was nice and cool, at least for summertime in Kansas.

Not only is this family extremely adorable, but they're a lot of fun too. I think it really shows in some of the photos. I know I had a blast being their photographer and getting to know them a bit...
